Anthologia

Anthologia is an education-first initiative exploring how people understand and interact with complex systems. Anthologia explores ecological, cultural, technological, and social systems through real-world experience and narrative learning. It is being developed as a long-term, partnership-led initiative focused on education, resilience, and shared understanding. Anthologia is currently in an early development phase. Anthologia takes its name from the Greek anthología —meaning “a gathering of flowers” — a metaphor for a collection of ideas, stories, and people brought together to create meaning. In the same spirit, Anthologia is being designed as a living collection: of stories and knowledge of systems and environments of people and perspectives. The aim is not to simplify complexity, but to help people engage with it more clearly, responsibly, and creatively. Current Focus (Phase 1)Anthologia is currently focused on: Systems-based education and experiential learning Sustainability, resilience, and regeneration Culture, heritage, and narrative as learning tools. Early-stage prototyping and pilot development Partnership-led exploration with institutions and communities. This phase is about listening, learning, and building strong foundations. What’s Next Future phases will explore applied learning environments, mobile and place-based pilots, and collaborative programs developed with partners across education, culture, sustainability, and disaster resilience. More detailed information will be shared as the project evolves.
